The Avenue has a very low staff turnover.  We have 10 staff members in total, some of which have been with us for over 15 years.  Our team is made up of highly qualified and trained Early Childhood Professionals.  Staff members that run the Toddler and Babies rooms hold Diploma qualifications in childcare, whilst our assistants hold the Certificate III in Children’s Services.  We have a qualified University trained Kinder Teacher that runs the Kindergarten room, along with an assistant who also holds a Cert III in Children’s Services. In the kitchen, you’ll find our chef Wendy, who cooks up creative and nutritional meals – check out some of Wendy’s recipes here.

Two days per year are dedicated to staff development.  This ensures that our curriculum is progressive and that our children’s experiences at The Avenue are continuingly being enhanced.
