The current fee is $66* per day and Commonwealth Government Child Care Benefits (CCB) can be claimed if eligible.
Fees are paid at the full day rate, irrespective of the number of hours that a child has spent at the centre on any particular day. The Centre does not provide casual or occasional care.
Fees are to be paid two weeks in advance. Statements are issued on a fortnightly basis, and receipts will be issued each Friday. A receipt will be issued and returned to you via your child’s pocket in the front foyer.
*this is subject to change at any time. Parents will be given notice of any fee increase in writing one month prior to the new fee coming into effect. |

Payment of Fees Policy
Fees are payable for all days booked unless the place can be filled by another child for the period of absence. This relates to sick leave, annual leave, or any other absences from the centre. Public Holidays are chargeable, except for Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day. No fee payment is required from service users over the Christmas break, nor for staff development days. If you are going away, and your child will be absent from the centre, please notify staff as soon as possible by utilising the communication book or emailing the Coordinator. |

CCB is available through any Family Assistance Office for all families. Application forms are available through any Centrelink, Medicare or Tax Office. This form should be completed, and returned to the above-mentioned offices for processing.
It is the family’s responsibility to ensure that they apply for the CCB. Please allow two weeks prior to your child’s commencement date. The Avenue Children's Centre is not able to give fee reductions without this CCB Assessment Notice.
When reassessment for CCB is due, it is the responsibility of the parent to have their application lodged by the due date. Failure to do so will result in the full fee being charged from the reassessment date.
